At Hope Rock Farm, our pigs are rotationally raised in our timber and pastures with access to fresh air, sunshine, and natural forage. They root, forage, and enjoy reveling in the mud. The result is an amazingly flavorful pork you can feel good about serving at your table.

How does buying a whole hog work?

1. Reserve your hog by purchasing 
2. We'll only charge your card a $250 deposit to reserve your hog after checkout
3. We'll drop off your pig at the processor during the processing window
4. The remaining balance is billed based on the final hanging weight we receive from the locker
5. You will be contacted by the locker on how you would like your pig processed
6. You can pick up your delicious pork or have it delivered (see our locker's home delivery options!) and pay for processing when it is done!

How much do I pay for a whole hog?

You will be charged the price per pound times the hanging weight of the animal (hanging weight is taken after slaughter but before aging, cuts, trimming, and packaging is done) plus the processing fees.

$5.65 per pound x Hanging weight + processing fee = FINAL COST

A deposit will be taken from your card to hold your hog reservation.  This deposit will be credited back to you when we calculate the final cost based on the hanging weight.

The final price will be somewhere around $960 plus the processing fees.
